Refund Policy

Last updated 29 September 2026

This policy explains when you can get your money back for a DevOps Level purchase. It's separate from cancelling — see “Cancelling isn't the same as a refund” below.

7-day refund window

You can request a full refund within 7 days of the purchase date, for either plan:

  • Monthly plan — the 7 days start from your first payment (the one that started the subscription).
  • Yearly plan — the 7 days start from that year's payment date.

From day 8 onward, that payment is final and isn't refundable. This applies to renewal charges too — the 7-day window is per payment, not a standing right to refund a charge from months ago.

Cancelling isn't the same as a refund

You can cancel your subscription at any time, with no time limit and no need for a reason — that just stops future billing, and you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. A refund is different: it's getting money back for a payment already made, and that's only available inside the 7-day window above.

How to request one

Email billing@devopslevel.com from the address on your account, with the approximate purchase date. We'll confirm eligibility and process it from there — no long form, no retention pitch.

How it's paid back

Refunds are issued by us through Razorpay, our payment gateway, back to your original payment method. It typically takes a few business days to appear, depending on your bank or card provider — that part is outside our control.

When we may decline a refund

A refund inside the 7-day window can still be declined if there's clear evidence of abuse — for example, systematically copying or scraping paid content (see “Acceptable use” in our Terms of Service) rather than a genuine change of mind.
